Taren has spent his life outrunning the past, the law, and most of all—his own mistakes. He never stays in one place long. Never lets anyone get too close. But when a job goes unexpectedly, he finds himself in possession of something far more dangerous than stolen cargo: an alien psychic with a price on his head and the ability to see a future Taren doesn’t want to believe in.
Nivan has seen it all before—fire, war, death. He’s spent a lifetime watching the stars burn. But the moment Taren crashes into his life, the future shifts. Suddenly, the man who should’ve left him behind becomes the only person who can change what’s coming. The only one who can stop it.
The problem? Taren doesn’t believe in prophecies. Doesn’t believe in anything but survival. And he’s not willing to be a pawn in someone else’s game—even if the alternative means losing everything.
The galaxy doesn’t care what Taren wants. Neither do the enemies hunting them, or the fate that’s been waiting for him all along.
Let the stars decide the fate for someone else—Taren’s rewriting his own damn future.

In the neon-lit slums, a chance encounter sparks an electric connection between a mysterious scavenger and a wary pawnshop owner.
When a transport pod falls from the sky, Song might just get his chance to escape his life of theft… as long as he finds a buyer. But one look at Lee, the pawn shop owner, threatens to break the walls he carefully built around his heart.
Lee has his own skeletons in his closet, and the attraction he feels towards the mysterious seller of this rare merchandise blinds him to the truth of how he acquired it. What should have been a swift transaction will turn into an adventure in which both men will have to overcome their trust issues and acknowledge the deep connection that keeps them coming back to one another.
But as forces conspire against them, will the fragile love they’re building survive? Or will the darkness of the past destroy their chance to a beautiful future?
After years of slumber, Tyler Talbot wakes to find himself alone in a world that has changed – a world that has revived beyond his people’s wildest dreams. Unable to believe he is the last human standing, he goes in search of other survivors, but what he finds is not quite what he expected.
Hazen’Ba, a Sinait warrior, thought he had enough on his plate already when he finds Tyler roaming the forests. The stranger looks like a being from old stories, stories he has not believed since he was a young child. Wanting to know more about this man, he takes him under his wing and tries to protect him from the suspicion and fear of his kin.
With more than a language barrier standing in their way, can Tyler avoid the suspicions of the survivors? And will Hazen’Ba side with his own kind in the end?

After losing his sight, Tanner, determined not to be a burden on his family, makes his way to the forest. He will learn to survive on his own, or he won’t. When he falls and injures himself an enigmatic stranger comes to his rescue.
Anan is used to being feared and hated by humans. He is perfectly happy avoiding them. But when he comes across an injured young human in his forest he ends up taking him home to tend to.
As the days go by both Tanner and Anan find themselves growing closer, but what will happen when Tanner finds out Anan’s secret?

Protect him. Stop him. Love him. Holden's fighting for more than just survival.
Jax thought teaming up with Taren would make things easier. Instead, it’s only raised the stakes. Between navigating Taren’s manipulations, dismantling deadly weapons, and keeping Holden from throwing Taren out an airlock, Jax finds himself torn in too many directions—and fighting to keep them all alive.
Holden thought their love would be enough to see them through. As much as Jax infuriates him, Holden can’t stop caring. And that makes protecting him all the more necessary—and terrifying.
Walking straight into the dens of powerful enemies leaves no room for mistakes. And with Taren weaving his own agenda into every step of their mission, the line between ally and threat is dangerously blurred. If Jax and Holden can’t find a way to trust each other—and themselves—Taren might destroy more than their plans. He might destroy them.
The galaxy’s a dangerous place. Staying together might be the greatest challenge of all.

I liked Jax and Holden’s story. This book has lots of flirting from Holden, but not a lot of spicy scenes. It’s definitely an enemies-to-lovers story. I enjoyed watching Holden wear down Jax’s defenses. I liked DOTA and was glad she was able to be transferred to the other ship. I look forward to reading more books by this author.

4.5 simply because Contemporary isn’t my favorite genre, that being said I must admit that this one suited me and I honestly liked it.
I’m not sure I’m using right expressions but I feel words that best describe this book are sweet cute and happy.
There’s no angst, villans or drama. Just two guys trying to figure out their lives and future and if said future will be together.

Wei and Oren were really engaging characters and the storyline drew me in from the first chapter. The beginning of the story reminded me of the Fifth Element with the rich living above the clouds and the poor scraping by on the surface. A very entertaining and adventurous romance, I cannot wait to read more of this fascinating world and its people.

I was a big fan of Samantha Lau’s first story in this cyber punk universe, Runner, and I was not disappointed with this novel expanding the universe of Dimian 🙂
There are so few cyberpunk MM romances and Reaper is a great story with two characters who heal thanks to meeting one another.
A+ for a nice, easy and comforting read in a futuristic universe.

I don’t often read other world adventure stories, but this one promised a simple plot and not too many characters.
I was drawn into the world a young Tyler Talbot discovered when he awake from a who knows how long sleep among other pods containing people in a wrecked bunker. (…) The mild heat was very good between this age gap couple.
The story is simple and at the end I realized it is probably a prequel to the further adventures of Tyler and Hazen. (…)
I thought I recognized the author’s name as I have previously read another semi fantasy story by them, which I enjoyed.
I like their writing style, it is clear and with good word choices and descriptions of the characters.

So snakes totally scare the bejeebus out of me but I’ve always been fascinated by stories of the Naga and other paranormal beings. I still don’t know if I could ever be near one if they were real without screaming my head off, but it’s a good little story. One of those that you should never judge a man by appearance but by the appearance of his heart. And how he treats others. Unfortunately, others were shit to him, except for Tanner. Tanner, who had gotten under Anan’s thick skin so quick. Especially when he came back for him. And suddenly life had new meaning.

This is the first book I’ve read by this author. This book was well written, fully developed characters, great plot, packed full of action. This book kept me fully engaged till the end. I must say this was truly a unique and unusual read. To be able to pick the traits of your children or go the natural route. The fact that there were several levels you live on based on your status/the amount of money you have. The city above the clouds is where all the rich people and government seem to live. I definitely plan to read more books by this author. -Enjoy
